His Majesty

Years ago, I started a peacock in a class taught by Roxanne Nelson at Along Came quilting. It so happened I was a student at ACAD and finished it so that I could use it as a project there. It won the honour of spending a year in the ACAD offices for a year.

Recently it was honoured again. It was shown at the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum in La Conner, Washington. Martha Sielman wrote me a letter a couple of years ago encouraging me to enter and, later, asked if she could include "His Majesty" in her new book. I was thrilled. I took many photos and so did my friend, Simon Sharpe; I sent her all of them.

Today, two years later, I received my book in the mail.

Check out page 141! Im thrilled! Thanks Martha.
